Each season starts with a hobby box of 26 packs: 14 of batters and 12 of pitchers, with fixed Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon and Common packs plus rainbow packs that can hold anything. Every pack offers three cards and you keep one. Three rerolls help you fill the holes, and chemistry rewards players from the same franchise, era or country.

A real league, 162 games

Your team joins a 32-team league split into the American and National Leagues, with historic franchise rosters as rivals. Every game is simulated plate appearance by plate appearance with the same engine: starters tire, relievers rest, the bench gets at-bats, and the league numbers land close to a neutral 1947-2025 baseball environment.

The season screen follows it like a newspaper: a calendar of all 162 games, a pennant-race chart, Pythagorean record, run differential, playoff odds and magic number, and The BaseRogue Gazette with the story of the day.

Awards, All-Stars and October

The league crowns an MVP, Cy Young, Reliever of the Year, Silver Sluggers and Gold Gloves in each league, picks All-Star rosters by fan vote at midseason and an All-MLB Team at the end. The top four of each league make the playoffs: best-of-3, best-of-5 and a best-of-7 World Series, where you pick your starter and roll the dice in the big at-bats.

What is the 162-0 Challenge?

A full baseball season mode in BaseRogue: open card packs to build a 26-man roster, then play all 162 games against a 32-team league of historic franchises and chase a perfect season.

How are the games simulated?

Every game in the league is played plate appearance by plate appearance, with real fatigue for pitchers, rest days, platoon lineups, pinch hitters, errors, double plays and stolen bases. Each player's numbers come from his card ratings.

Can I manage my team?

Yes. You set the batting order and rotation and pick up to three Iron Men, and a manager AI moves hot bench players into the lineup, changes the closer and reorders the rotation month by month. In October you choose your starter and roll the dice in the biggest at-bats.
